DAPSYS 2006

6th Austrian-Hungarian Workshop on Distributed and Parallel Systems
in conjunction with the Austrian Grid Symposium 2006

DAPSYS (Austrian-Hungarian Workshop on Distributed and Parallel Systems) is an international biannual conference series dedicated to all aspects of distributed and parallel computing.

DAPSYS 2006 is organized jointly with the 2nd Austrian Grid Symposium. Participants of the two events will share invited talks, tutorials and social events. Contributed paper presentations will take place in separate tracks in parallel.

SCOPE

DAPSYS 2006 is expected to be a major event for vendors, researchers and teachers to consider present and future topics in parallel and distributed systems. Papers presenting original research, educational methods, new concepts, and results of international projects are being sought. Papers describing clusters, cluster programming, grid systems and related fields are especially welcome.

Topics of interest of DAPSYS include but are not limited to
the following:

- Cluster and Grid systems
- Distributed and Grid middleware
- Parallel and distributed programming languages and algorithms
- Formal models for parallel and distributed computing
- Software engineering and development tools
- Problem solving environments
- Grid architectures
- Grid resource management
- Grid workflow
- Grid application support tools
- Distributed information management
- Distributed storage systems
- Advanced cluster/grid applications
