Certification Authorities

Below there is a list of Certification Authorities (CAs) that can be contacted in order to get a personal or a server certificate.

Security on the Grid is based on Autentication and Authoritation procedures. Authentication procedures security is assured through secure Certification Authorities (CA). Authoritation is managed through the creation of Virtual Organizations (VO).

One CA is being setup per each country. To obtain certificates for users, hosts, services,... contact the CA for you country.

International Grid Trust Federation

The promise of global computational Grids, requires policies and procedures that reliably identify Grid subscribers and resources.
We have established three regional Policy Management Authorities to manage their individual Grid Authentication services. The goal of the IGTF is to insure harmonization and synchronization of these PMAs policies to allow for a global trust relationship to be established.
